  1. You go down fine. Your body starts dropping the degree or so it needs to keep you under.

  2. Heat has nowhere to go. Polyester is holding it against you, cotton has soaked up the damp and is still wet. You're awake, and now you're doing the duvet maths.

  3. You never properly went back down. Tomorrow you'll be told to try magnesium.

Nothing to swallow, nothing to plug in, nothing that takes eight weeks to maybe work. Just the fabric touching you while you sleep, which is the one variable most pajamas get wrong.

What each fabric does once you're warm and damp at 3 a.m.

Polyester and fleece Holds heat and sweat against your skin and won't let either leave. Most pajamas sold as cosy are this.
Heavy cotton Breathes, but soaks the damp up and then stays wet for hours. Fine at 11 pm, cold and clammy by 3 am.
Viscose made from bamboo Light enough to let air through, and it moves moisture off your skin to the surface where it can dry. This is what we use: 95% viscose made from bamboo, 5% spandex.

The Cool Night Checklist

Nine things that make a bedroom colder. Most of them cost nothing and none of them are our products, except the last one. It comes with your founding code, and you don't have to do the quiz to get it.

  1. Set the bedroom to 65 to 68 degrees.
  2. Swap the duvet for two light layers you can kick off one at a time.
  3. Get polyester and fleece out of the bed entirely.
  4. Keep a glass of cold water within reach.
  5. Put a fan where it moves air across you, not at you.
  6. Finish wine and spicy food three hours before bed.
  7. Take a warm shower, not a cold one. Your body cools itself afterwards.
  8. Keep a dry top by the bed, so a bad night costs you two minutes instead of forty.
  9. Wear something that breathes. That part is our job.

When can I actually buy it?
The first drop goes live on Friday, October 9. If you are on the list you get the link the night before. The first 100 orders also get 15% off and free shipping with no minimum, because the first run is small and the popular sizes will go.
Will this stop night sweats?
No. Clothing can't do that and we're not going to pretend otherwise. It is lighter, more breathable and quicker to dry than what you're probably wearing, so you're more comfortable when you run hot. That's the whole claim.
Is it actually bamboo?
It's a soft fibre made from bamboo pulp. The legal name is viscose, or rayon, made from bamboo, and that's what we'll always call it.
Does it shrink?
Wash cold and tumble dry low and it holds its shape. It'll last longer kept away from towels and zips.
What if the size is wrong?
The cut is roomy, so size down if you're between sizes. One free size exchange on every order, and you reply to your confirmation email to start it.
Where does it ship from?
A warehouse in the United States. Orders leave in 1 to 2 business days and arrive 2 to 5 business days after that.
Why is there no review section?
Because we haven't sold anything yet. When there are real reviews from real customers they'll go here, and not before.
